Russia invites Turkey to Afghanistan conference

ISTANBUL – Holding the rotating presidency of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Russia has invited Turkey to a conference held by the organization on Afghanistan to be held in Moscow on March 27, Kazinfrom reported yesterday.
Participants will discuss the situation in Afghanistan and its influence on neighboring states, as well as efforts by the international community to fight terrorism and the illegal drug trade.
