Renowned Turkish banker, Abidin Cevher Ozden, nicknamed "Kastelli", fatally shot himself in the head in his office in the Kadikoy district on Istanbul's Asian side on Monday, Turkish news channels reported.

Banker Kastelli became popular in Turkey during the 1980s when the country made the transition to a free market economy.
