ISTANBUL - Certain areas of Istanbul will be without electricity on Friday and Sunday, according to a statement released yesterday by the city’s electricity distribution company.
The Bosphorus Electricity Distribution Company said due to maintenance work, large parts of the
Beşiktaş district on the European side will be without power on Feb. 13 and 15.
On Feb. 13, power will be cut off from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. in the Arnavutköy neighborhood’s Eğlence, Teyyareci, Suphi, Sebzeci, Bayram, Kamacı, Dubaracı, Beyazgül, Kuyu, Vezirköşkü, Kireçhane Çıkmazı and Bakkal streets.
As part of the same maintenance work, power will be cut from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 15 in the Ortaköy neighborhood’s Yeniyol, Çevirmeci, Cudiefendi, Mehmetkaraca, Ahmetçağan and İsmail Hakkı Türekeş streets and neighboring areas.
Power will also be out between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Feb. 15 on the Arnavutköy neighborhood’s Kuruçeşme street in properties numbered 4, 12 and 20. Power will also be out on Feb. 15 on Dulkadiroğlulları street and Üvez street, and Arnavutköy street in properties neighboring the property number 170.
