Penguen's owner, Erdil Yasaroglu, and his lawyer were present at the hearing, where they presented letters denying the claims of the prosecution. At the first hearing, the procedure for the next hearings was postponed in order to give the prosecution time to brief PM Erdogan on the contents of the defense's letter. Â
