Papadopulous: He is Mr. No Too

Turkish Cypriot President Rauf Denktas, who is dubbed by U.S. administrative circles as “Mr.No” announced Monday that Greek Cypriot leader Papadopulous turned down all the recommendation of the Turkish side. Denktas said that a second document handed by Greek Cypriots, included a series of demands and they accused the Turkish side, which asked for reinforced bi-zonality, of “Racism.” “They oppose a differentiation of Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot. They want their Republic to consist of Greeks, but the Turkish state to be mixed” Denktas said. Denktas added that Greek Cypriots also demanded the land to be given to them, to be put under UN control. “These lands were to be left within 3 years, in a gradual manner, under the monitoring of Turkish troops. If UN soldiers come there, there will be no Turkish Cypriot left in that region and that will be total disaster.” �
