Outdoor Sunday bazaar opens in Cihangir

ISTANBUL - Spring is in Istanbul. And with the sun shining and flowers blooming, many people want to spend their time outside in the streets. The Cihangir Beautification Association has organized an event to do just that: A bazaar named "Paz-art" will open Sunday at the Roman Garden in Beyoğlu’s Cihangir district.
Paz-art, which is considered an art and design market, was held twice last year.
The bazaar is the result of cooperation between members of the association and the Katalist design and Artane galleries. The bazaar, put together by volunteers, will open at 11 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.
According to the association, the bazaar will be open once every two weeks, on the first and the third Sundays of the month.
Paz-art brings together prominent designers and artists. The location of the Roman Garden overlooks the Bosphorus, which may make the outdoor bazaar more enjoyable. And not only will there be plenty of art, but there will also be music and mouth-watering food.
