ISTANBUL - Some Istanbul neighborhoods on the Anatolian side will have power blackouts between Feb. 14 and 19.

The Anatolian-side Electric Distribution, or AYEDAS, made an announcement that maintenance and repair work will be done on distribution units in the Kadıköy, Pendik, Şamandıra and Erenköy districts.

There will be no electricity on Eski Koşuyolu, Zabitbey, Nazlı, Özgür, Çilek, Zaviye and Dinlenç streets and at the end of Eminbey in Kadıköy on Feb. 14, between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Pendik, the Şahsuvaroğlu hotel building site, the Çamçeşme district, Coşkun street, Dericilik Enstitüsü lodgings, Cemal Gürsel street, the Ordu district, Barbaros street and the directory buildings of the National Education and Land Registry Cadastre will have no power on Feb. 15 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

On Monday, Feb. 16, power will be out in Sancaktepe between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the areas around the Uysal, Demokrasi and Sultangazi streets.

In Erenköy, the Hatboyu, Telli Kavak and Fırın streets will have no power on Feb. 17, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

On Feb. 19, the H.Hakkı Bey, Eralp, Alper, Gözenç and K.Rıza streets will have their electricity turned off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
