New units in Denizli

İZMİR - A $200 million residential project in Denizli, Sümerpark, to be developed in partnership with the Pera Real Estate Cooperative, or Pera GYO, and Global Investment Holding, has been given the green light.
The project started when Pera Real Estate bought land from Sümerbank. The development will offer 316 residential units, a shopping center, hotel and hospital. “There are no projects in Denizli that can rival the Sümerpark project. That is why we clearly see what lies ahead.
We are not going to have trouble with sales, despite the crisis,” said Pera GYO general manager, Ayşegül Bensel. “There are 12 different layouts in the 316 residential units. We are planning to complete Sümerpark in one and a half years. Unit prices will range from YTL 202,000 to YTL 589,000,” she said. “The project has been of interest to investors from places around Denizli including Aydın, Manisa and İzmir,” said Bensel.
Bensel also said the company was going ahead with other development projects in Turkey. After Denizli, the company will begin a $140 million investment featuring a hotel and shopping center, in Van in eastern Anatolia. Pera GYO will also start a hotel development on 300,000 square meters, worth $70 million, in northern Cyprus at the end of 2009. The company has filed for a construction permit for the project.
