New U.S. envoy to arrive in Ankara

The newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Ankara James Jeffery will arrive in Ankara on Sunday Nov. 30, according to a statement released by the American Embassy on Friday.
Jeffrey will make a brief statement to the press after his arrival at Esenboğa Airport, outside the airport’s VIP lounge at approximately 3:00 pm. He was previously the deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara.
