Ministry Demands Expulsion of Deputy Undersecretary

The Justice Ministry demanded the expulsion of the Deputy Secretary General of the Appeals Court, who was involved in the Cakici scandal with the high court and the Sedat Peker operation. Ercan Yalcinkaya was exiled to the Kazan town of Ankara after his name was involved in the scandal.The investigation into Yalcinkaya has been concluded and he will now face both disciplinary and penal action. Justice Minister Cemil Cicek approved the relevant dossier.Yalcinkaya was accused of establishing a link between Mafia leader Alaattin Cakici and former Appeals Court President Eraslan Ozkaya. Â
