Many Claimed Responsibility For Bomb Raids

Al Masri Brigades, a terror organization which is affiliated with Al-Qaeda, claimed responsibility for the bomb-raids of August, 9 in Istanbul in two hotels and which caused the death of 2 people.

However, the Istanbul police announced that the raids were carried out by “August 15 Progress”, which is affiliated with PKK/KONGRA-GEL.
16 people of August 15 Initiative grouq had been captured before the NATO Summit which was held in Istanbul, on June, 27-29. They were reportedly trained on bombs on the Kandil Mountain.
