Major fire at Hollywood's Universal Studios

A major blaze broke out in a sound stage at Universal Studios in Hollywood, California early on Sunday, Turkish TV channels reported. The cause of the blaze is still unknown and firefighters efforts to extinguish the blaze continue. (UPDATED)

A major blaze broke out in a sound stage at Universal Studios in Hollywood, California early on Sunday, Turkish TV channels reported.
Some 100 city and county firefighters are helping studio staff tackle the flames, which have caused at least one explosion, and helicopters have been dropping water on to the burning structure.
No injuries have been reported at the 230-acre site, which saw filming for such classic movies as Jurassic Park and ET.
The cause of the blaze is still unknown.
