Lufthansa union stages warning strike

The three-hour warning strike at Frankfurt airport was expected to affect 80 flights, with 14 cancellations and scores of delays, the airline said. The UFO union is seeking a 15 percent raise for its 600 members, while Lufthansa has so far offered a 6.1 percent increase over 12 months, and a 3 percent bonus payment.
