MHA news agency based in Germany reported that the Kurdistan Freedom and Democracy Congress (KADEK), which replaced PKK, terminated itself in its second extraordinary congress, in which a motion on “organizational restructuring that will coincide with democratic system” was unilaterally adopted. The decision based the termination of KADEK on the following reasons:
-To pave the way for an organizational restructuring that will coincide with democratic ecologic system;
-To pave the way for a new structure that is inclusive, democratic, and participatory and that bears the marks of Leninism;
-On this basis, to give way to the formation of an organization, which will be able to represent the Kurdish public, meet international criteria, and make legal, democratic, and legitimate politics;
-To ensure peaceful and democratic solution of the Kurd issue together with sovereign nation-states.
