JTI: We Are Under Threat

Following the amendment made last week in ratios of special consumption tax (OTV), Japan Tobacco International (JTI) increased the price of its product, Winston, which was in the middle price category, between 26.1% and 27.3 %.Long Winston and Long Winston Light cigarettes whose prices were 2 million 300 thousand Turkish Liras after the amendment regulation, increased to 2 million 900 thousand Turkish Liras with an increase of 26.1%.The prices of Short Winston's Box, Soft, Light and Superlight types rose from 2 million 200 thousand Turkish Liras to 2 million 800 thousand Turkish Liras with an increase of 27.3%.Â
