Istanbul to host City and Art Forum

The forum will be financed by the European Union. All art academics, representatives and students in Turkey and Europe are invited to the forum, which will bring together European art and design academics and Istanbul’s cultural representatives. The participants will discuss the current and future roles of art schools in cities.

As part of the events, the policies of Europe’s culture and mass communication tools and their reflections on city culture will be reviewed. The forum will also include conferences, discussions, presentations and, cultural activities and receptions. Aiming to improve communication and cooperation between art faculties, the forum will also host exhibitions of art from workshops in various cities.
