A 35-minute documentary titled "Istanbul for Aficionados" has been produced, which provides tourists with a guidebook-like tour of Istanbul. The documentary was produced by the Worldsmith Advertising Agency, while its script was written by famous British poet John Ash.

Its music was composed by Turkish composer Iskender Paydas. The documentary was produced to promote tourism in Istanbul and it has already been broadcasted full-time in the close circuit televisions of 20 Istanbul hotels.

The film is divided into four main sections. The first part focuses on Byzantine art and Byzantine architecture, while Part Two analyzes Ottoman architecture and Ottoman mosques. Part Three introduces the modern quarters of Istanbul, including Taksim, Nisantasi, Levent and the shopping centers, while Part Four features various scenes from the Bosporus.
