Howard is ’Magic’ in team’s win

ORLANDO, Florida - Turkey was wondering which would star on Sunday night: Hedo or Memo? The answer was Dwight Howard.
The Orlando Magic center Howard had 28 points and 20 rebounds, leading his side over weary Utah Jazz for its third straight victory in what was expected to be a clash of two Turkish players in the NBA.
Jazz center Mehmet Okur had only three points, two rebounds in 13 minutes, while Magic’s forward Hidayet "Hedo" Türkoğlu contributed to his team’s victory with 10 points and eight assists.
Hedo returned to the lineup after missing the previous two games with tendonitis in his right foot, but the star of the night was Howard.
"Howard is awfully hard to deal with,'' Utah coach Jerry Sloan was quoted as saying on the NBA’s official Web site. "He took us out of our offense, and then you have to take pot luck out there, and that's usually not a good percentage shot.''
The Magic (49-17) closed within a half-game of the Boston Celtics (50-17), who lost earlier in the day.
