Greek agent Savvas Kalenderidis, who accompanied PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan during his flight from Greece to Kenya and who stayed for 17 days with him in Kenya, testified in the suit brought in Athens for the illegal entry of Ocalan to Greece.Kalenderidis said that he was a lieutenant colonel in the Greek army and he also worked for the Greek intelligence organization. He was sentenced to 4 years of prison after his intelligence activities were revealed by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT). After that he was recalled by Greece with an agreement.
