Hilton plans over 40 hotels in Turkey in five years

Hilton Hotels plans to increase the number of its hotels in Turkey by more than 40 over the next five years, a Hilton executive said on Tuesday.

Hilton currently has eight hotels in Turkey. "We think there will be demand not just in Istanbul anymore, but throughout the country, and we aim to meet some of that demand," said Patrick Fitzgibbon, in charge of expansion in Europe and Africa.
Hilton Hotels also plans to more than double its investments in Turkey over the next two years through a series of investment deals.
