İZMR - Prepare to raise your expectations of public toilets; it seems not all need be places to avoid except in dire emergencies. One toilet owner in western Turkey is offering much better returns on spending the proverbial penny.

The toilets in Küçükkuyu on the Aegean cost, located approximately 250 kilometers north of İzmir, welcome customers with flowers, toys, dolls and even paintings. There is also a music system, helping people ease the difficulty, sometimes pain, of the "operation."

"Hygiene is the most important thing for me, but I also care about my customers having a good time," Mehmet Kozak, the 32-year-old owner of the toilet, told the Hürriyet Daily News & Economic Review. "This place is a piece of heaven. Many tourist buses make a stop here to take pictures of the bay view."

The fee is 50 kuruş per person, fun included.
