Gul stated,  ''Our brothers and sisters of Turkish origin are living in various countries throughout the world. Some of them are independent and some of them live as minorities. We watch them closely. It is satisfactory to see the happiness of Turks in Iraq, Western Thrace, Greece, Crimea and Bulgaria. As long as they are happy, they will be a bridge of cooperation between the countries they live in and Turkey. It is not a realistic approach to change geographics in today's world. We are in close watch of the problems of our brothers and sisters who share the same heritage with us around the globe,'' told Gul.
