Besiktas defeated Galatasaray and entered the last week of the Turkish Super League two points ahead of their closest rivals, Sivasspor, and three points ahead of Trabzonspor who also won their last games. -- SWEEPING COSTS CAN BE PAID WITH THREE YEARS OF ORGANIC FARMING
The government project which was prepared by the Kilis Governor's Office for the sweeping of the mine fields for the purposes of opening these lands for agriculture, showed that only three years of organic farming could pay the cost of clearing mines from near the border. If the Justice and Development Party’s, or AKP,  draft law proposal which is expected to be adopted in parliament this week takes effect, the company that wins the tender will be given the right to conduct organic farming for up to 44 years, for the mine sweeping costs that could be recovered after only three years of organic farming.

The AKP administration which has been working on a constitutional amendment package, including arrangements for making it harder to shut down political parties and changing the structure of the Constitutional Court, decided to put it aside for now. The government is aiming to revive investments that were halted due to the economic crisis, and will give a price guarantee to the renewable energy. According to the regulation, incentives will be given to solar energy for 20 years and the government will provide incentives to other energy sources for 10 years.
