Foreign ministry to celebrate anniversary

ANKARA – The 89th anniversary of the foundation of the Turkish Foreign Ministry will be celebrated today.

The Foreign Ministry Martyrdom will be visited early in the morning as one of the first events on the celebration schedule. Necati Utkan, a retired ambassador, will hold a conference. An exhibition by the Foreign Ministry Members’ Association, or DİMDER, will also be opened.
The Foreign Ministry was founded May 2, 1920, during Turkey’s War of Independence.
