Private Fly Air airline company has started to fly from Turkish metropolis of Istanbul to Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah on Saturday. 37 passengers were aboard the first flight from Istanbul to Sulaymaniyah. Fly Air Deputy Director General Kaya Nomaler said that these flights would enhance economic and cultural relations between the two nations, and contribute to peace and friendship.
Fly Air will fly between the two cities twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
This private airline company launched flights to Iraqi city of Irbil yesterday.
