ISTANBUL - Two foreign citizens who have been under close observation in a hospital because they were suspected of carrying the H1N1 virus, commonly known as swine flu, have been released after recent medical tests came out negative.

The national Ministry of Health announced that the two foreigners had been quarantined at the Haseki Education and Research Hospital for the past week, and that they are now ready to be released. Four other families that were also taken into quarantine have tested negative for the virus as well. Other passengers who were on the same flight as the suspected families have been allowed to stop taking anti-viral treatments.
