Flash flood kills Turkish businessman and his 3 children

Wealthy Turkish businessman, Esat Edin, and his three children, aged 7-12, were killed in a flash flood while camping at the base of Ida Mountain in the northwestern province of Balikesir.

The Edin family had been camping at an established site at the base of the mountain when the flood hit on Friday night. Eye-witnesses said the area had not experienced heavy rain fall.
Edin is the founder, CEO and largest shareholder of Kemer Group, an Istanbul-based real estate development company.
