İZMİR – Tariş Fabrics and Textile Factory, established 34 years ago as the biggest facility in the region by Turkey’s Tariş Unions of Agricultural Cooperatives for the sale of figs, raisins and cotton, has suspended manufacturing for six months.
The company said the deepening global economic crisis was among several reasons for the decision. The factory, located in İzmir’s Çiğli district, provides work for 600 people.
