Exodus from Lebanon has begun; some leaving by ship, other by car

A mass exodus has begun from Lebanon, as Israel's attack against the country following the kidnapping of two Israeli soldiers by Hizbollah continues. On the fifth day of bombing, a bus filled with Turkish citizens left from in front of the Turkish Embassy in Beirut yesterday morning.
Authorities from the embassy reported that the bus would leave through Lebanon's Arida border crossing, pass through Syria, and enter Turkey through the Yayladag border crossing. Other buses like this have already left Lebanon for Turkey, with embassy authorities reporting that so far 160 Turkish citizens have left in this manner.
England sending 2 war ships to pick up citizens in Lebanon
Meanwhile, England has reportedly sent two war ships, the HMS Illustrious and the HMS Bulwark, to the Middle East to help in rescuing its citizens from Lebanon. Both ships are expected to reach Beirut sometime in the next 24 hours. Figures show that somewhere around 10 thousand British citizens are currently residing in Lebanon.

Germans arranging convoy for citizens through Syria
The German Foreign Ministry has announced that they have arranged a convoy to Syria for their citizens currently in Beirut. There are reportedly around 100 German citizens currently residing in Beirut.
French have sent ship "Jean de Vienne" to rescue their citizens
The French government, like the British, has also sent a ship to rescue citizens in Lebanon. It is expected that the "Jean de Vienne" will reach the Beirut port sometime Thursday. French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin has said that all French citizens wishing to leave Beirut and Lebanon should request help from French consulates and the embassy in Beirut. There are currently somewhere around 17 thousand French citizens registered as living in Lebanon.
