’EU or Turkey should patrol Gaza border’

ISTANBUL - United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon yesterday told the Financial Times that when the Palestinians are unable to control the Gaza border, Turkey or the European Union should patrol it in order to prevent Hamas from smuggling arms.
Moon said he conveyed this suggestion to the Israeli leaders and called them to open the border for the free movement of people and goods.
