Eruygur Will Go to Damascus

Gendarme General Commander Gen. Sener Eruygur will go to Syria, where the operations to capture Azad Ekinci, Abdulkadir Karakus, and Gurcan Bac, who were the ringleaders of the attacks in Istanbul, are still under way.Eruygur, will attend the meeting of the Joint Security Committee, which was set up within the framework of the Adana Protocol, and of which Eruygur is one of the chairmen. On the other hand Syrian Head of State Bashar Asad will visit Turkey in the first week of January. Moreover, Syrian Interior Minister Ali Hammud will come to Ankara in December. Â
