When I look at this outlook, I see that:
We are at a very critical crossroad.
We will reach to a safe harbor, taking lessons from these events.
Or into a deeper chaos.

I am frightened with the point we came.
Sincerely I am frightened.
Because I don't know where this situation, that we are now passing through, will take us.
The speeches of AKP leaders frightened me a lot.
Verses of the Koran, poems, recalls of "death" at the mosque courts, vows of "mission".
These are all frightening me.
I am asking myself where we are going.
A party which I was prepared to see as "victim", turning into a "proud" one.
I get scared with the attempts to lynch the chief prosecutor, and insults against him.
I think it's very dangerous situation for the future of this case if the prosecutor turns into the victim.
I have been waiting to hear prudent things for the last three days.
But instead we see vows of revenge, mission screams from meeting squares and party halls, and death services in the mosque courts.
Such emotions take us to a very bad point.
I see some AKP members still making calculations over their votes, saying 50 percent or 70 percent.
Everybody will be adversely affected by this process unless it's managed well.
Yesterday morning it was reported that the heads of court of appeals would hold an urgent meeting and make a tough statement.
At that time, I hoped them not to make a statement that would burn the bridges.
Head of court of appeals behaved very responsibly and cool-headedly, and urged everybody to decency and not to intervene in the judiciary.
This makes me to think that the judiciary will handle the case objectively.
And I invite everybody to behave so.
Chief prosecutor prepared an indictment and filed the lawsuit using his authorization.
This is just in the level of indictment.
I don't think they will listen to me but I will repeat my recommendation for AKP members:
If they want to influence this process in a positive way, turning it to a battle is the last thing they should do.
Unfortunately this is what they have done for the last three days. It would be much better if they give assuring messaging that will make the accusations unfair.

Unfortunately in some parts of the nation question marks rose about the intent of the AKP.
I must confess I am among these people too.
Still I am hopefully expecting messages, which restore confidence, from AKP.
Now we clearly see that:
We need a new social agreement.
We can reach an agreement which will not undermine the secularism principle and not create new question marks in minds.
Such a strong agreement can create the most effective climate for the solution of headscarf problem.
We expect the AKP officials to keep this always in their minds:
We came to this point because they didn't keep their promises that they make on the eve of July 22.
The democratic rule we need to obey is hidden in the messages coming from
I am summarizing those messages once again:
-- We are against the closure of parties.
-- But governments should be respectful to separation of powers and priority of law.
-- And in the European Parliament the
In case these rules are obeyed, no chief prosecutors in
