Güncelleme Tarihi:
The decoration of the house with the library on the left, carpet on the front, small paintings and photos on the walls reminded me houses around us in 1970's in Ankara.
A standard house of a Turkish intellectual.
Journalists have earned quite well money since mid-1980s.
When I look at the photo of this house, I couldn't observe such an increased welfare in the decoration of this house.

Two sentences, which Selcuk used after his release, drew my attention too much.
The first one meant:
"I was whetted more than March 12."
The second was different:
He wanted Erdogan to reduce the tension in the country.
So he had managed to control his anger.
If he can do this after such a heavy custody process, why the politicians who are involved this clash can't do?

People around the Prime Minister Erdogan gave similar messages in last two days too.
In my opinion, it was important for the prime minister to say "the media has also responsibilities" in his speech in Manisa.
But this message should be taken and understood by the pro-AKP media in the first place. The evaluation of the Ergenekon operation irritated many people.
Because especially the pro-government newspapers' approach to this concerned many people that a "McCarthy"ism era is being started.
Everyday irrelevant people's names are being mentioned.
The worse is that these names are taking place in the case file.
Everything gets complicated.
I don't think the prosecutor is happy with the situation.
Because this situation gradually turns the case into a return game.
However this case is very important in many aspects. If there is such a gang in state organs or some people undertake missions with the name of state organs and take actions, then this should be discovered.
This is important for the safety of all of us.

Even though I am not very hopeful, I expect the prime minister to think about Ilhan Selcuk's message.
Today everybody, either pro-AKP or anti-AKP, except the fanatics, asks that question:
"Where are we going?"
I want to remind the ones who say "We get 60 percent vote in such an atmosphere'' that:
That dream can turn into a heavy nightmare for all us.
