Ertugrul Ozkok: The sole formula to end crisis in Turkey

Let us first diagnose what we are living.

Turkey faces one of the deepest political crisis in its history.

The same question rises in the minds of moderate people when they come together:

How we will make the way out of this crisis? Is there a formula for this?

The formula is obvious.�

We need to reach a consensus...

But, who are going to reach this consensus?

Will those who even don't fell uncomfortable when they are called as "anti-secularists" and "Islamic democrats" by the western media, and those who also don't feel uncomfortable when they are called as "coup plotters”, reach a consensus?

Are those so-called democrats, who even legitimatize the torture practices of the military junta periods, to suppress the Kemalism and Turkish Armed Forces, seen as their biggest enemies,

With those who see any conservative as "Islamic revivalist" and cooperate even with the devil to eliminate him?�

No...

The Ergenekon probe proved that these two sides will not reach a consensus ever.

This war will continue until "one" abolishes "the other".

Both sides agree on the same slogan:

"Victory or death..."

Then let us ask the same question again?

Who will reach a consensus?

The answer is very simple.

"Rational people."

Millions of people who don't have any problems either with their religions, secular system, Mehmet the Conqueror and Ataturk, or democracy and military.�

They are going to reach a consensus

And the first move of reaching to a consensus is to take the "mission" flags from the gunslinger columnists.

We need a consensus that will put the character of rational people to every part of this country.

A consensus formed by rational people that don't think the belief is consisting of only headscarf, the democracy is not synonym of seeing Ataturk and the military as the enemies, and the secularism means lack of faith.

This is the only formula that will get our country out of crisis.
