Ertugrul Ozkok: DEHAP still DEHAP, though its heads may have changed

Not just the media, but the government, the security forces, politicians, and elected city officials should show extreme care. Some DEHAP city officials in Semdinli passed a difficult test well following the original incidents. But I cannot say the same thing for the Sunday talk of given by the Diyarbakir Mayor.
 
I did not find his speech effective. To the contrary, it seemed he was trying to exploit the Semdinli events for his own politics. Which is why I would like to say the following to him:
 
If we want a partnership and a union in this country for the future, we cannot use critical events like this for our own purposes. Of course, this warning is only for those who are sincere in their quest for peace....
