Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met yesterday with Iranian Foreign Minister Menuchehr Mottaki, relaying to the top level Tehran minister a "nuclear warning" from Ankara. Said Erdogan, "I believe that there are still steps to be taken on this subject."

The meeting between Erdogan and Mottaki took more than an hour yesterday, covering topics from the Iranian nuclear activities which have opened the way to crisis with the West, to Iraq, the Israel-Palestine conflict, and many other regional matters. Erdogan's meeting with Mottaki was not the only high-level meeting with a Tehran official to occur this week in Ankara; two days ago, Erdogan met with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Gholam Ali Haddad Adel. In his meeting with Adel, Erdogan also urged sobriety and care on the subject of Iran's nuclear activities.
