Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan so far opened compensation cases totaling 1.5 trillion TL to 60 broadcasting companies and journalists , on grounds that they attacked his individual rights.Of these cases, 26 were concluded in his favor. If the High Appeals Court withholds the verdicts, Erdogan will receive 250 billion TL from these law suits.  Deputy Chairman of AKP and Legal coondinator Hayati Yazici said that "Our Prime Minister is not concerned about money. He is not interested at all with this aspect. Once we get the compensations, we shall decide what to do about them." Two attorneys are following Erdogan's cases.   Erdogan sues the media after the media-follow up officers in his party scan all the dailies regularly. Those news, comments, and cartoons found  insulting the prime minister are kept in a separate file. TV channels , periodicals and internet sites are scanned as well in this process. Reviewing the file, Attorney Fatih Sahin launches the legal cases about the ones he selected and he also reports crime about some of them, to the prosecutor.     All the AKP organizations all over Turkey are in action and are informing the office of Erdogan about other news and comments made about him in the local level.  Half of the case so far opened by Erdogan are against the Star group (30 cases).
