In the document some “activities” of former Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Recep Tayyip Erdogan are displayed. “The sentences in the state’s top secret document… say on the money gained through municipality companies, “…We received the information that, about 3-4 trillion TL was transferred monthly to the pool accounts of some firms close to Virtue Party, and from these accounts the money flowed to the party and to Recep Tayyip Erdogan, through the carriers of the party…The money was gathered in an account in the Vakifbank, then was passed through different accounts in order to prevent any control. And then it was transferred to firms and individuals close to Virtue Party. There was a continual transfer of resources to Akit, Yeni Safak, and Channel 7…The party and the Metropolitan Municipality gave trillions of Liras, gained through fake bills, to the trusted persons…” “The date of the “top secret” document of the state is April 9, 1999…What happens then? Then, the issue is investigated by account specialists, who found out that it is true, and a suit is brought into Tayyip and his team. The case is still under way. Meanwhile, Tayyip becomes a deputy and then Prime Minister. Because he gained immunity from prosecution, this case is put aside. “This was published on Monday. Tayyip did not make any comment on the issue. He did not say, “No, we did not lower ourselves to swallow the money of the public.””�
