“There is an incredible EU disturbance in Turkey. Some sections of our media depict this as an “issue of pride.” That is, no matter what concession we may give we should get a date to commence accession talks! EU is continuing to demand, we are continuing to give. They do to us what they have never done to other candidate countries.
They are right. They have never seen such a submissive state administration, which is deprived of the notion of national pride. They can get whatever they want. On the other hand, our politicians try to convince people with lies. “If we become a member of EU, then you can go wherever you want!” That is a total lie. Even though we become an EU member we will not have the right of free travel. We have already accepted this. We will have to get visa and wait in queues, as is the case now.
“… Now, the sale of Cyprus is on the agenda. EU has already convinced some sections of the Turkish Cypriot society. They accepted the Greek part, and they divided the Turkish part… After giving concessions in Cyprus and Aegean, it will be the turn of the South East.”
