Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak requested Friday Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan send a private representative to join ongoing ceasefire talks in Egypt in a phone conversation.

Mubarak wants the Turkish delegation to join another delegation comprising of executives from the Egypt, Palestinian administration and Hamas established for the solution of the problem in Gaza, sources told the Anatolian Agency.

Erdogan ordered a delegation be formed to include executives from the prime and foreign ministry.

Ambassador Ahmet Davutoglu is expected to head the delegation as a private representative.

The Turkish delegation will join the ceasefire talks that will take start in Egypt on Sunday.
