ISTANBUL - The Rock’n Dark Express music competition for amateur rock groups consisting of members between the age of 18 and 29 is accepting applications until Dec. 31.
After elimination stages in eight regions around the country, finalists will come together for the last round of competition in Istanbul in May.
The Rock’n Dark Express will go to Ankara on Jan. 10. Later on, the train will visit the Black Sea city of Trabzon on Jan. 24, Aegean Çanakkale on Feb. 21, Central Anatolian Eskişehir on Feb. 27, İzmir on March 7, Mediterranean Antalya on March 20, Istanbul on April 4 and Mediterranean Adana on April 18.
The winning group will have the opportunity to record a digital single and see a video clip of it aired on MTV. As part of the Efes Dark-sponsored competition, Turkey’s leading rock groups and singers such as Hayko Cepkin, Seksendört, Ggece Yolcuları and Yüksek Sadakat will perform concerts.
