ISTANBUL - The Mother Child Education Foundation, or AÇEV, has launched a new project called "I Love My Books" in cooperation with two big brands in Istanbul.
Aiming to encourage preschool education, AÇEV has teamed up with brands Gap and Marks & Spencer, which have shops in Istanbul. AÇEV and the brands will organize storytelling days on April 18, 23 and 24. The events will take place at the companies’ Istanbul locations.
Young Turkish actors and singers such as Nur Aysan, İlker Asmaz, Damla Cercisoğlu, Özgür Özberk, Rojda Demirer and Serkan Altunorak will participate in the events and will read stories to children.
According to AÇEV, all Gap and Marks & Spencer shops will sell children’s books, including a series of six books published by AÇEV Publications. Money from the book sales will be used in AÇEV projects to promote preschool education.
