CIA Chief Porter Goss meets with Turkish Police Chief Gokhan Aydiner

A meeting yesterday in Ankara between CIA Chief Porter Goss, and the head of Turkey's Police Force, Gokhan Aydiner, touched on many subjects, including efforts by the Turkish police force to track down suspects involved in Islamic terror, as well as the question of Turkish citizens caught in Al Qaeda training camps in Afghanistan.
The meeting between Goss and Aydiner also put focus on some of the Turkish citizens questioned at the US Guantanemo Bay camp for Islamic terror suspects, with Goss asking for information from Aydiner as to what procedures were being used by the Turkish forces to track down and follow such suspects. Aydiner, for his part, underlined the importance of US support in the cutting off of financial aid and other international support for the PKK terror group.
