ISTANBUL - The Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul is offering a chocolate-making course April 23, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, for children ages 7 to 14.
Executive Chef Maximilian J.W. Thomae and pastry chefs will teach children how to make one of the world’s favorite gourmet delicacies Thursday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Techniques the children will learn include properly melting, storing and molding chocolate, the process for making white and dark chocolate, and techniques for coating fruits and nuts in chocolate.
After enjoying their tasty chocolate creations, the participants will receive a certificate and a specially designed apron as souvenirs of their day as pastry chefs. The Kids’ Chocolate Course is 85 Turkish Liras.Also, The Mövenpick Resort Bodrum offers a rejuvenating break this April 23.
Vaild from April 17 to 23, the package includes a standard double-room accommodation, an open breakfast buffet and free use of the wellness center.
For 90 euros per night, customers can experience spring on the Aegean coast. Children up to 12 years old can stay free in their parents’ room.
