ISTANBUL - What would make someone happier than a delicious chocolate egg at Easter? Çırağan Palace Kempinski Hotel, with a magnificent Bosphorus view, will offer various Eastern joy alternatives during this special event. The menu runs from breakfast favorites to the best examples of European kitchen.
If you’re looking for a special way to spend Easter this year, the Laledan Restaurant is the place to be. Located in the five-star Çırağan Palace Kempinski hotel in the
Beşiktaş district of Istanbul, the restaurant, which boasts a rich buffet and a spectacular Bosphorus view, will offer a special Sunday brunch April 12.
Executive Chef Olivier Chaleil has prepared a menu that runs from breakfast favorites like frittata and Florentine omelet to light and tasty salads to beef Wellington and foie gras, the best examples of his European kitchen. Marvelous Easter cookies and a glass of bubbly also await guests.s For kids, there will be balloons to blow up and eggs, a symbol of Easter, to paint in vivid colors, along with clowns, face painting, and Mickey Mouse and SpongeBob SquarePants outfits to try on. The brunch is 98 Turkish Liras per person (plus VAT), with a discounted rate offered for children.
The hotel’s Easter specials extend to tea time at the Gazebo Lounge and Restaurant, where a buffet of cakes, traditional braided bread, homemade chocolates and a glass of sparkling wine will be available April 11 and 12 between 2 and 6 p.m. for 55 liras (plus VAT) per person. In addition, homemade Easter chocolates will be on sale at the lounge starting April 5.On the evenings of April 11 and 12, guests may choose between two special Easter meals.
The menu in the Laledan Restaurant will include meat, fish and Aegean mezes from Cunda Island. The three-course meal comes with unlimited rakı and nonalcoholic beverages for 98 liras (plus VAT). On the hotel’s first floor, the Tuğra Restaurant will offer both an a la carte menu, and a set five-course Easter menu. The latter will include lamb kebab, grilled cutlets and goose stew for 148 liras (plus VAT).
Those who want to stay at the hotel between April 9 and 14 or April 16 and 21 can opt for a special four-night package that includes accommodation in a Superior Bosphorus View room, daily buffet breakfast for two at the Laledan Restaurant, Sunday brunch for two, one high tea at the Gazebo Lounge and one set-menu dinner for two, including local drinks, in the Laledan Restaurant.
