ISTANBUL - Easter, the annual religious feast of the Christian world, is celebrated this Sunday. Special Easter menus and programs have been prepared and await adults as well as children at Istanbul's five star hotels, Four Seasons, Ritz Carton and SwissÔtel
Easter, the most important Christian festival, is celebrated throughout the world as the religious holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus.
The celebration of Easter is also the best time to enjoy chocolate bunnies and colored eggs, particularly for children. Istanbul’s five-star hotels have prepared special programs to make Easter unforgettable. Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus and Sultanahmet, SwissÔtel and The Ritz-Carlton Istanbul are some of these hotels waiting for guests on this special day.
Four Seasons Hotels
Easter is the welcoming banner of spring and families and friends are invited to celebrate the special day with a special brunch with all its delights at the Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus and Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet. Both hotels are ready for this special occasion on April12, hosting a brunch buffet accompanied by tables decorated with daffodils and tulips. There will also be a corner for children with face painting, balloon animations, chocolate bunnies and colored eggs. Enjoy the company of friends and family in a peaceful atmosphere while children celebrate the special day.
Savor an unforgettable day in the Aqua or Seasons restaurants, colored with delicious food and special surprises for children. The price for Easter brunch at the Aqua restaurant is 120 Turkish Liras per person and 60 liras for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
Easter Brunch at the Seasons restaurant is 110 liras per person and 55 liras for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
Traditional Easter at SwissÔtel
While SwissÔtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul’s Cafe Swiss and Chalet restaurants host entertainment for children with the Easter brunch on April 12 having become a tradition, they will also offer their families the opportunity to enjoy a merry Sunday.
In the playroom, which has been privately prepared for Easter, children can participate in various games and competitions between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
In the celebrations, which have great importance for children, a delightful program has been prepared, including egg hunting and teaching how to make delicious chocolates in various shapes from Andreas Mahl, the executive chef of SwissÔtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul.
Furthermore, guests may also give a sweet surprise to their loved ones with Easter eggs and lovely rabbits made of chocolates that were specially prepared for Easter and offered at the Swiss Gourmet.
The Ritz Carlton, Istanbul
The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul is inviting guests to enjoy a special Easter brunch buffet to celebrate the holiday. The brunch will be served April 12 at Cintemani restaurant, which has beautiful scenic Bosphorus view. Brunch will include unlimited soft and local alcoholic drinks until 3 p.m. There will also be a special children’s buffet at the restaurant. The price for brunch is 111 liras for adults and 55 liras for children between 6 and 12. Children under six are free.
In addition to Easter celebrations, lovers of raw fish cuisine are in for a treat this spring until May 2. The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul invites guests to the Sushi Bar in the Lobby Lounge for sushi, sashimi and nagiri served fresh to order. This exclusive and delicious service operates between 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.
