British publishing house prints Ocalan book

Notes written by former PKK terror group head Abdullah Ocalan, who has been imprisoned on Imrali Island for 9 years now, were transported out of his prison by his lawyers, and brought to England where they have been published as a book entitled "Prison Writings: The Roots of Civilization."
Ankara has reportedly made diplomatic efforts to relay its discomfort over the book to the British government. The British publishing house Klaus Happel published Ocalan's writings during the first week of 2007, and the book was introduced to the public at a stand at a London conference on "World civilizations and the clash of cultures" held January 20, 2007.
