İZMİR - Işınsu Kestelli has been re-elected to serve as president of the Turkish Derivatives Exchange, or VOB, for another term.
According to the VOB’s announcement, Turkey’s first private bourse held a general meeting and reselected Kestelli to serve as chairwoman.
The meeting also included an election of members of the board. Mert Öncü of Yapı Kredi Bank was elected to serve as deputy chairman of the board. Other members included Ömer Abdullah Özdemir of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Cafer Bakırhan and Pamir Sezener of the Association of Capital Market Intermediary Institutions of Turkey, İlhami
Koç of İş Investment, and Adnan Güzel of Vakıf Investment. The list also included Aydın Seyman of the Istanbul Stock Exchange. Çetin Ali Sönmez will continue to serve as VOB general director.
