Recently creating 150 collections for Turkish fashion clothing company Koton, Aksu stated, “My ties with Turkey are of extreme importance. I want to limit myself to fashion shows in London. I have a preference for Paris for my showroom and when it comes to selling my designs. Turkey and Istanbul are also very important to me”.

Moralıoğlu’s classical designs

Erdem Moralıoğlu’s fashion show also featured in London Fashion Week with his classical, eye-catching designs reflecting the 1950s. The model, who appeared at the end of the Moralıoğlu show, wearing an alluring off-white gown and hat, captured the audience’s attention. Moralioglu, who is currently working alongside celebrity designer Vivienne Westwood, told Hurriyet, “I am drawn to contrasts. The mingling of masculine and feminine characteristics, even one dressing in the style of the other… I reflect these contrasts through both the colours and the styles I use.”
