A deadly bomb blast rocked a popular Egyptian seaside resort town early on Saturday morning. At least 83 people have been killed and 200 left wounded after three blasts hit Sharm el-Sheik. a popular tourist town on the Sinai Peninsula at around 1.15 am. Authorities believe that the bombings may be connected to last October's blasts in the Red Sea resort of Taba.  Twenty-eight of those injured were non-Egyptians, said Hala el-Khatib, spokeswoman for the Egyptian Tourism Ministry. They included 13 Italians; five British; three Spanish; three Saudis; one Turk; one Ukrainian; a Russian; and an Arab-Israeli, she said.About five non-Egyptians were among the dead, she said, but their nationalities were not available.Egypt's Interior Minister Habib al-Adli told reporters, "We are trying to find out who committed these crimes,"  While visiting the site of the Ghazala Garden Hotel, which suffered extensive damage in the blasts, Habib al-Adli said, "It is likely that they have some relationship to the Taba operation." Al-Adli said that it was not yet clear who was responsible for the attacks, adding, "Whoever it is, or whatever groups they belong to, this is ugly terrorism, and there's no humanity or values or feel of belonging in these acts." The blast that hit the hotel occurred when a speeding car, which police failed to stop, drove into the hotel reception area and then blew up. Two other bombs went off in the town, one a car bomb hit the market place in the old Old City, and the other was a remote device that had been left at shuttle stop in a parking lot. An Al-Qaeda-linked group claimed the bombings in Egypts tourist-packed Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh on Saturday that killed at least 75 people, including foreign tourists.Â
